These were experimental Turtle Bowls. Trying out different clay bodies and firing methods. I think they're no less beautiful, just different. Some may be a little less absorbent for essential oils.

Our studio "seconds" are not necessarily faulty or even of lessened quality, but have a minor problem (typically a small chip, hairline crack or varying color) that prevents it from passing our quality check. We don't ship pieces with major problems that look broken or damaged. Many of the photos here are of regular pieces rather than "seconds" just because they are all different and varied and one photo could not represent them all.
